The mission of the Westford Ghosts softball program is to encourage the athletic and personal development of our players in a competitive, positive and fun environment. We accomplish this through a focus on developing fundamental softball skills, instilling a knowledge of advanced rules of the game, understanding softball situations and strategy, and playing smart. Ghosts teams all operate in an environment that fosters teamwork and demonstrates good sportsmanship. Success is not measured in just wins and losses, but in enabling players to reach their potential both on and off the field. We are a smaller program, with a diverse and experienced coaching staff, which allows us to give athletes the individual attention they deserve.

The Ghosts program is based in Westford, MA, however we welcome players from other towns. Indoor winter facilities and outdoor practice fields are all located in Westford, MA. We carry a slightly smaller summer tournament schedule (4-5), and as a volunteer-run, non-profit organization we are vigilant about managing our costs which results in lower fees for our players and their families. Finally, we understand not all players learn in the same way, so we encourage open communication between players, parents, and coaches to ensure players are on track to reach their full potential.
